Saskia Peels

Saskia Peels studies religion in ancient Greece. Her research interests include Ancient Greek concepts of holiness, religious practices across time, and rituals in which people imagined themselves interacting directly with the gods.

In Dutch

To answer her research questions, she makes use of insights from cognitive linguistics, psychology, artificial intelligence and other disciplines. As a Young Academy member, she is keen to work on public engagement projects, and on improving communication in interdisciplinary partnerships.
